Balance
From his opulant observatory in the seat of the White Palace he gazed upon the siwrling dust funnels in the heart of the Sea of Silt with trepedition. He did not linger long, though his mind was free from its physical coil he knew that the Shadow Prince, the first Sorceror would soon be stirring. Those fool usurpers from Tyr had no idea how delicate the balance was and how the scales which had set perfectly even for over a millenium were all coming crashing down. Kalak had been a fool, that damned Ziggaraut the old embicile had become consumed with was in the end his undoing. A rag tag bunch of no ones had infilterated his palace, interfered with the black ritual which Kalak was performing and had done the unthinkable, they killed a sorceror king. Then, to make matters worse, Tyr began spinning out of control; whereas Kalak ruled with fear and death the new play king Wodak actually had the Gaul to unite preservers under his flag and then something horrid and unimaginable, the elves Awakened. There were few who walked the blasted plains of Athas that knew of elves as Andropinis had, few indeed. Andropinis, under his true unspoken name, had garnered the armies of humans under his banner and had led a bloody ruthless assult against the elves of old. He had studied their ways, their magic and their traditions; he knew aboust the Misted Lands but for the Grand Forest to materialize... Andropinis shook of this train of though, it was unsuited for a king, nay, for a good. Fortunatly the Gatekeeper Borys was powerful enough to keep the first Sorceror in check and Andropinis had his own problems in the city. He would wipe out those would be usurpers in his own city, he would double his efforts against any who would challange his might in Balic. In the city of Balic any of the Veiled Alliance would be hunted down like the vermin they are and exterminated. Balance in the city of Balic would be restored.
